Jaclyn Rushing, Environmental Educator
I am a senior majoring in Environmental Studies and Romance Languages. I am especially interested in agriculture and the global food system. I am currently a research assistant examining the effects of climate change on glaciers and mountain communities. I have also been a Girl Scout camp counselor, an Au Pair in France, and a horseback-riding instructor. I am the President of the University of Oregon Club Running Team, and I compete in track and cross-country. Whether it’s running, hiking, biking, paddling, or skiing, I love being active outdoors. I am passionate about the Pacific Northwest and enthusiastic about sharing my passion with children.
